Tod’s CEO Americas Roberto Lorenzini Steps Down

Lorenzini exits after 14 years, having driven regional growth and supported the launch of a new wholesale business model.

After more than a decade at the helm of Tod’s Group in the Americas, Roberto Lorenzini will step down as CEO Americas, marking the end of a chapter defined by strategic evolution and steady leadership. The announcement was made from Milan on September 8, 2025.

Lorenzini’s 14-year tenure saw Tod’s navigate a dynamic retail landscape, from expanding its regional footprint to weathering the challenges of the pandemic. Most recently, he played a key role in launching a new business model focused on strengthening partnerships with major wholesale clients—an initiative credited with boosting sales and reinforcing brand equity across the Group’s portfolio.

In agreement with the Della Valle family, Lorenzini has decided to pursue new opportunities aligned with his long-term career goals. A successor has been identified and will step into the role shortly. To ensure a seamless transition, Lorenzini will remain onboard in an advisory capacity during the handover period.

“It has been an incredible honor to lead this organization for more than a decade,” said Lorenzini. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together — from showing resilience during challenging times to introducing new ways of growing the business. With this talented team in place and a clear direction ahead, I am confident the Company is well-positioned for the future. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Della Valle family for entrusting me with this responsibility and for their constant support throughout these years.”

The leadership change signals a new phase for Tod’s in the Americas, as the Group continues to refine its business strategy and expand its presence in key markets.
