In celebration of the Qixi Festival, Valentino unveils a new range focusing on the Valentino Garavani accessory line
Maison Valentino has rolled out a special campaign, ‘VLogo for Love’, coinciding with the Qixi Festival, often referred to as China’s Valentine’s Day. The campaign spotlights singers and artists Xu Yiyang, Liu Xiening, and Kazuma Mitchell, emphasizing a curated selection of Valentino Garavani accessories, including the Locò bags, VLogo Signature pumps, and the newly released VLogo Pace sneakers. This latest sneaker is part of the Valentino Urban Flows collection for Autumn 2023, marking it as a primary target for current marketing campaigns.
The exclusive collection can be found in select boutiques throughout Greater China and is also accessible on Valentino’s official website, its WeChat mini-program, and flagship stores on Tmall and JD.
Valentino explained that the Locò moniker represents “locomotive”, drawing a connection to the design concept and the theme of urban mobility. The collection also introduces a fresh addition, the Locò Micro bag.
This promotional effort aligns with the resurgence of the luxury market in China post-pandemic, given the prolonged lockdowns in the region. The recent relaxation of group travel restrictions at the beginning of the month presents an opportune moment for brands as they leverage the Qixi Festival.
