The Executive Joins From Richemont And Giorgio Armani As CEO Riccardo Bellini Continues To Reshape The Leadership Team

Valentino has appointed Liran Peterzil as chief marketing officer, effective March 2. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Riccardo Bellini and succeeds Yigit Turhan, who joined the Rome-based couture house in 2018 and has since exited.
Peterzil will be responsible for shaping Valentino’s global brand strategy and overseeing marketing, communications, events, media relations and the overall brand experience worldwide. His mandate comes at a pivotal moment for the house as it recalibrates its positioning under refreshed leadership.
He brings more than 20 years of international experience across luxury, hospitality and entertainment. Over the course of his career, Peterzil has held senior leadership roles at Compagnie Financière Richemont and Giorgio Armani, as well as at SBE Entertainment Group and Creative Artists Agency. He has also advised government institutions and cross-industry partners globally, broadening his exposure beyond traditional fashion frameworks.
The appointment is the latest in a series of executive moves since Bellini took the helm on September 1. In December, Valentino named Laurent Bergamo deputy CEO. Bergamo, who first joined the company in 2018 after 14 years at Tod’s, now works alongside Bellini in steering the next phase of the brand’s development.
Earlier, Davide Tosi was appointed chief merchandising officer. He previously served as global chief merchandising officer of ready-to-wear at Gucci. Tosi’s arrival followed the departure of Maria Cristina Lomanto, who had been Gucci’s president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa since 2025 after serving as executive vice president and brand general manager.
With Peterzil’s appointment, Valentino continues to reinforce its executive bench as it aligns brand strategy, merchandising and communications under a newly structured leadership team.
