Veronica Beard Names Monica Freedman As Chief Direct-To-Consumer Officer

Monica Freedman to Oversee Global DTC Business and Customer Strategy for Fashion Brand

Monica Freedman has been appointed chief direct-to-consumer officer at Veronica Beard. The company stated that this move is part of its effort to enhance its direct-to-consumer (DTC) business and improve customer experiences worldwide.

In her role, Freedman will be responsible for guiding the strategy, expansion, and overall performance of Veronica Beard’s DTC division globally.

Previously, Freedman led the launch of Khy, a drop-based DTC fashion brand associated with Kylie Jenner. She has also served as vice president and general manager of digital omnichannel at Alo Yoga, and as head of digital product, consumer, and store experience at Restoration Hardware.

Freedman brings experience in digital marketing, analytics, site design, merchandising, and a focus on consumer experience to Veronica Beard.

At Veronica Beard, Freedman will manage the global e-commerce sector and North American retail operations. She will also head the development of strategies for customer relationship management (CRM) and clienteling, aimed at improving the brand’s engagement with customers across shopping platforms.

Freedman will report to Stephanie Unwin, president of Veronica Beard, and will collaborate with cofounders Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard as the company pursues further global growth.

“As we continue to evolve Veronica Beard into a global lifestyle brand, Monica will play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage with our customer and bring our vision to life across every channel,” said Unwin.

“Veronica Beard is a brand that truly understands and celebrates its customer,” said Freedman. “I’m excited to help further that mission and create exceptional experiences for women wherever and however they choose to shop.”
