Pre-Fall 2022 Ad Campaign

Review of Versace Pre-Fall 2022 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Donatella Versace with Photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch with models Lila Moss, Selena Forrest, Milan Hua

Versace breaks down barriers of studio and street with a new Pre-Fall 2022 campaign shot by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch.

Visually developing on the interplay of high and street style that characterizes the collection, Hadlee Pearch’s imagery creates a juxtaposition of studio smoothness and real-life edge. He hangs a sheet in a Milanese courtyard or garden and captures his models before it, as if the highly stylized fantasy of the studio is spilling out into the real world.

It’s a somewhat new and different approach than what we’re used to seeing for Versace, which typically sticks to lavish opulence or studio crispness. But this campaign is a strong way to translate this vision into something that feels more possible and palpable, reminding us that fashion’s place is in the everyday, that Versace glamor can exist wherever you take it.
