The unexpected collaboration sees Viktor & Rolf apply its idiosyncratic, couture-minded take on high-fashion femininity to classic Superga sneakers, landing on oversized bows, soft silks, and rounded forms to imbue once-humble footwear with a delicate magic.
Aerden’s campaign imagery keeps things rather simple to draw out the personality of the designs. She plays with lens and shooting angles to put the foremost focus, fittingly, on her models’ enribboned feet, which then draw the eye upward. The styling consists of Viktor & Rolf’s off-kilter take on classic luxury, emphasizing the versatility of the styles while creating total looks that are firmly a part of their fantasy world.
