Wales Bonner presents a thoughtful and poignant campaign for Spring 2023. The brand tapped photographer Malick Bodian to celebrate wonder, heritage, and harmony.

The campaign was shot in Milan, Italy, and showcased the collection in harmony with the city around it. It’s melodically resonating at the same frequency, reflecting contemporary sensibility in reverence of the history that surrounds it.

The accompanying film, Horizon Blues is a cinematic recap of the Wales Bonner Spring Summer 2023 show at the Palazzo Medici in Florence. Collaborating artist Ibrahim Mahama recounts the extraordinary resonance of materials steeped in history, and filmmaker Jeano Edwards captures the reverie enabled by encounters across time and tradition.
