Y/Project Cancels Fall 2024 Show in Paris

The Strategic Decision Will See the Brand Show the Collection via a Lookbook Instead

Y/Project has canceled its Fall 2024 runway show, which was slated for March 3rd in Paris as part of Paris Fashion Week.

In a statement about the decision, the brand said “This strategic shift reflects Y/Project’s commitment to prioritizing investments in the growth of the company, its teams, and its product offerings. By reallocating resources, the brand aims to promote Y/Project in the most effective manner possible.”

The Fall 2024 collection will instead be unveiled via a lookbook, the release date of which has not yet been confirmed.

“We believe this decision is a rational response to the current environment, demonstrating our prudence and foresight,” CEO Conte-Jodra said in the statement. “While we recognize the importance of traditional fashion shows, we are confident that this alternative approach aligns best with our goals for the season.”

Last year, Conte-Jodra and creative director Glenn Martens announced plans to grow the brand’s retail footprint and amplify its emerging accessories business.
