Zara celebrates five decades of fashion with a striking cinematic tribute by Steven Meisel, marking a historic milestone through a dazzling ensemble of 50 of the world’s most iconic models. Conceived by Marta Ortega Pérez—Zara’s chair and longtime admirer of Meisel—the campaign unites the legendary photographer with an intergenerational cast in a bold, high-gloss homage to fashion’s enduring allure.

Entitled 50 Years, 50 Icons, the short film channels pure glamor and emotion through performance, with each model—ranging from Twiggy to Naomi Campbell to Vittoria Ceretti—lip-syncing to Donna Summer’s I Feel Love. The result is more than a celebration; it’s a moving portrait of fashion’s connective tissue: relationships, rhythm, and reverence for beauty in all its forms.

Meisel’s visual language is unmistakable—precise, elevated, intimate—and here it meets the exuberance of Karl Templer’s monochrome tuxedo styling. The looks echo the timeless appeal of black-and-white dressing while showcasing a new Zara collection, launched alongside the campaign as the first chapter of its anniversary year. Pat McGrath’s makeup and Guido Palau’s hair bring polish and personality, completing the Meiselian dreamscape with the signature finesse of his inner circle.

What sets the campaign apart is its fusion of legacy and lightness. It’s reverent but playful, sleek yet sincere—an emotionally resonant fashion fantasy. For a brand often associated with speed and accessibility, this campaign reframes Zara in cinematic, soulful terms: not just a retailer, but a storyteller of style.
