Review of Zimmermann Resort 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Emil Vrisakis of Smile Agency with Photographer Benny Horne with model Kristine Lindseth
Zimmermann indulges in retro cinematic romance with its Resort 2025 campaign, created once again by the house’s go-to creative team of collaborators, creative director Emil Vrisakis, art director Gabriele Hackworthy, and photographer Benny Horne.
Drawing inspiration from iconic film references, retro style trends, and teenage heartthrobs, the collection brings a sense of fun and cinematic grandeur to Zimmermann’s signature aesthetic. The setting of a star-worthy home overlooking the Los Angeles skyline thus feels like a perfect choice, and model Kristine Lindseth brings poise, glamor, and star power to the poolside reverie as the sunset dies away and dusk fades into night.
Primed for social media engagement, a brief accompanying video puts these portraits in motion while deepening the mood through a nostalgic cinematographic perspective and a seductive synth soundtrack.
Just as Zimmermann’s collections are always consistent, cohesive, and unmistakably on-brand, so are their accompanying campaigns – thanks in large part to the way the creative team synergizes so well together through their many collaborations. While nodding to the collection’s inspiration in 80s teen movies and dreams of Hollywood romance, the imagery remains squarely grounded in the brand’s unshakeable vision of fantastical, fluid femininity.
