24S, the LVMH-owned and Paris-based global e-commerce platform invited Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing to create a festive capsule for a maximalist holiday season.
For this first collaboration with 24S, we all knew from the get-go that the theme should be about celebration. The holiday season is a time to bring our nearest and dearest together, and now more than ever, after all the cancellations, disruption and heartache of the last couple of years, it seemed important to appreciate a return to the normalcy of laughing and dancing together. My team and I drew inspiration from the glamorous nightlife of the 80s and reinterpreted four iconic Balmain styles to reflect the disco era’s over-the-top flamboyance.

Recognizable as Rousteing’s glam rock aesthetic, the four metallic pieces are bold and dazzling, and the capsule comprises a smoking jacket, an asymmetric mini dress and two revisited it bags.
We were delighted to collaborate with Olivier and his team on this festive microcollection. The 4 iconic pieces, revisited in a silver version, are the epitome of Balmain’s sophisticated elegance and of 24S’ bold spirit. It’s everything we want to wear to wrap up the year in style!
