Miu Miu Select sees the label’s friends curating a highly personalized collection – or wardrobe – of their favorite ready-to-wear, bag, shoe, jewelry and eyewear pieces from the new season. Their selections will be available to buy for a limited period only.
Launching in New York, London, Paris and Moscow in May 2019 and now continuing in London, Paris and Miami of 2021, a corner of Miu Miu stores in these cities will be dedicated to the project and a custom-made tag reading “Miu Miu Select by Hailey Benton Gates” will be attached to each piece chosen.
Miu Miu ‘selectors’ so far include actress, director, model and fashion designer Chloë Sevigny (New York ), model and designer Georgia May Jagger (London), Model Lila Moss (London), stylist and influencer Veronika Heilbrunner (Moscow), musician Clara Luciani (Paris), and stylist and influencer Camille Charriere (Paris).
At the in-store launch event, during which tags will be signed by guest curators in attendance and hand-sewn into purchases ensuring pieces are further individualized.
Finally, all product in the series are packaged in specially designed Miu Miu Select bags and boxes.
