Review of Zara Beauty Manifesto Stick 2021 Ad Campaign by Photographer Hanna Tveite with Models Precious Lee and Tia Jonsson
Zara simply shines with a new beauty campaign captured by photographer Hanna Tveite, with makeup by Cyndle Komarovski and hair by Marki Shkreli.
While we’re still seeing a bit of the barely-there, Zoom meeting approved makeup trends, the focus of the campaign is on bright color, getting creative, and bold self-expression, particularly through experimenting with colorful eyeshadow. Models Precious Lee and Tia Jonsson glow in eye shadows that blend blue and purple or bright reds and rosy pinks. There’s also a strong contemporary update of a classic nocturnal dark-eye and red-lip look.
At once focused, candid, and dreamy, Tveite’s portraits do a good job to emphasize the personality of each look. The campaign is a great way for Zara Beauty to demonstrate both the versatility of the makeup itself and the contemporary, colorful character of its brand.
