Supersize me, not once, but two times, as we saw childlike abandonment at work when it came to playing with proportions. There was a surrealist Alice In Wonderland quality to shapes which seemed to have a mind of their own and were growing up and around the models. Super-elongated sleeves at Loewe were brought back to reality with the incorporation of a split, but at Act No1, Luca Lin and Galib Gassanoff took the reins off completely and went full throttle with gigantic geometric shapes in tulle. Not necessarily a look for the everyday, but dropped shoulder blazers at Acne Studios, and the voluminous linen pants at Balmain also speak to the same sentiment.
