According to the provisional schedule released by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Paris is getting ready for a buzzing fall 2023 women’s session that will feature the postponed show by Y/Project, Harris Reed’s debut at Nina Ricci and the return of Alexander McQueen. Daniel Roseberry’s ready-to-wear designs will be featured on the runway debut of the renowned couture house Schiaparelli.
Paris Fashion Week will feature 67 shows and 40 presentations from February 27 to March 7. On March 3 at 4 p.m., American-British designer Reed, who has promised “magnified femininity” and hinted in that direction with a black velvet off-the-shoulder dress worn by Adele for a concert in Las Vegas last December, will make his runway debut as creative director of Nina Ricci.
Alexander McQueen has held several runway shows in New York and London since the pandemic, and Paco Rabanne, which debuted its spring 2023 collection at the end of July’s couture week, are making their long-awaited returns to Paris after a three-year absence. The former will air on March 1 at 5:30 p.m., and the McQueen, which Kering owns, will air on March 4 at 6:30 p.m.
Four labels will also make their first scheduled presentations during the fall 2023 session. According to the French fashion federation, the calendar’s final iteration will be unveiled the week of February 6.
