Philipp Plein celebrated his new boutique opening at the Los Angeles Beverly Center with an opening party attended by notables such as Kerri Colby, Jonathan Cheban, Alexis Ren, Patrick Hindman, Nike O, Kelly Osasare, Leah Talabi, and more.
In tandem with its Rodeo Drive store, the new Philipp Plein Beverly Hills Boutique will carry the new Modern Renaissance and Thousand and One Nights collections, with the store’s own design codes honoring these collective themes. Coming in at 4,000 sq ft, the space is outfitted with custom Philipp Plein homeware fixtures, framed by a striking green carpet spanning the space. Contemporary lounge couches, marble podiums, and chrome and glass tables bring the essence of Philipp Plein’s luxury living to the Beverly Center as a small oasis in the middle of the mall.
Eyewear and Philipp Plein Timepieces are on full display, available to purchase through the private client experience, along with the full mainline ready-to-wear collections.
Modern Renaissance takes the egocentric charm of Renaissance forms and imbues the elegance of minimalism. The Women’s Autumn 2023 collection takes these contrasting but complementary motifs, presenting a proposal of long and short dresses, hyper-feminine, and extremely refined blazers and trousers. Showy prints and rock details have been abandoned in the past. At the same time, the design, shapes, and structure of the clothes are enhanced, and flashy details such as crystals, studs, and all-over logos are replaced by the fluidity of the materials and shapes reminiscent of the Renaissance dresses worn by ladies at court. The past meets modernity.
In Thousand and One Nights, a romantic journey along the path that combines the charm of the Middle East and the fashion style of the West. The paisley pattern has traveled the silk road from East to West, adorned cowboys and bikers’ scarves. The original Persian motif in the shape of a teardrop looks like a spray of flowers combined with a cypress tree. Used and consumed throughout history by painters, architects, and designers, with Philipp Plein, the paisley motif gets a new life through an unexpected and modern reinterpretation.
Tradition and modernity united without losing the rock ‘n’ roll soul that characterizes the brand.
The Philipp Plein Beverly Hills Boutique honors the classic Plein stylistic codes while establishing itself in its new home neighborhood, Beverly Hills.
