Creative Director Camille Miceli Hints at a Return of the Iconic Vivara Print for her Sophomore Runway Collection
Pucci has announced that its upcoming Fall 2024 runway show will take place in Rome on April 4th.
While specific details regarding the venue and additional particulars remain undisclosed, creative director Camille Miceli’s evident enthusiasm suggests an event of significance which is set to build on the success of her first runway show in Florence earlier this year. The creative director, expressing a fondness for the Eternal City and alluding to a “very Vivara” spirit, pointed to the incorporation of the house’s iconic Vivara print—a wavy design with historical roots dating back to 1965, introduced by the house’s eponymous founder and inspired by a crescent-shaped island near Capri. Since then, the print has been interpreted as a wallpaper installation, ceramics, rugs, and lent its name to the first fragrance launched by the designer in 1966.
Though this is just her second traditional runway show for Pucci, Miceli has been with the house since 2021, where she has helped to revitalize it and make a return to the lifestyle image that made the brand a hit with the jet-set clientele of the 60s.
