The Opening Marks the North American Debut of a New Store Design Concept
Michael Kors has announced the opening of the latest Michael Kors Collection store at 242 N. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills at Two Rodeo Drive. The April 18th launch marks the North American debut of a new store concept for the designer’s Collection boutiques.
“Beverly Hills is one of the few places in the world where you can get the speed of big-city life
blended with a resort-like glamour,” says Michael Kors in a statement shared by the brand. “From the impressive architecture to the restaurants, world-class people-watching and the shopping, it has the best of everything. I am very excited to bring Michael Kors Collection back to one of the most legendary locations on the planet. Rodeo Drive is a very special place for me personally, as my family moved to Beverly Hills back in the Seventies and the street has always been an epicenter of luxury and glamour.”
The boutique’s design offers a blend of minimalism and luxury, evoking a residential ambiance. Featuring a mix of materials like blackened steel, raw concrete, antique brass, gold Calacatta marble, and oxidized maple, the The 1,500-square-foot store comprises two levels. Luxurious textiles add warmth and tactile appeal, enhancing the clean, neutral palette of stone, wood, and metal.
