From Saks Potts to Marimekko: CPHFW’s AW25 Line-Up Emphasizes Nordic Design and Emerging Talent
Copenhagen Fashion Week has revealed the official line-up of 36 brands scheduled for the AW25 season, which will run from January 27 to 31, 2025. Highlighting both established and emerging designers from across the Nordic region and beyond, the schedule is set to showcase a dynamic mix of innovation, heritage, and forward-thinking fashion.
This season’s line-up introduces Bonnetje as the latest addition to the CPHFW NEWTALENT program, joining returning talents Alectra Rothschild / Masculina, Stamm, and Berner Kühl. The NEWTALENT initiative provides selected designers with monetary support, mentorship, and global PR exposure for three consecutive seasons, ultimately enabling them to graduate into an alumni network.
Notable returning brands include Skall Studio, Henrik Vibskov, Saks Potts, and Marimekko, with other brands such as Stine Goya and Baum und Pferdgarten reinforcing CPHFW’s reputation as a key platform for Nordic fashion on the global stage. This season’s curated roster further solidifies Copenhagen Fashion Week’s role as a prominent player in the fashion calendar, recognized for its commitment to sustainability and its support of innovative talent.
Aligned with the event’s dedication to environmental consciousness, the AW25 season marks a pilot phase for the newly revised Sustainability Requirements framework. Participating brands will have the opportunity to test and implement these standards, which will officially take effect later in 2025.
Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “This line-up represents some of the most iconic Nordic leaders in fashion alongside talented emerging designers. The dedication of our brand community enables us to grow, innovate, and lead the way toward a positive future in fashion.”
