The Supermodel Brings a Retro Perspective to her First Capsule for the Brand
Supermodel and designer Kate Moss is unveiling her first collection for Zara, set to launch on November 30. The Fall 2024 “party capsule” collection, created in collaboration with longtime stylist and creative partner Katy England, offers a range of elegant pieces designed to seamlessly transition from day to night.
Drawing inspiration from Moss’s personal archives, the collection combines her signature aesthetic with a versatile, modern sensibility. The pieces reflect her decades-long influence on fashion, blending timeless sophistication with contemporary trends. Highlights include laser-cut dresses in cream and black with intricate detailing, vintage-inspired prints like leopard and 1930s tea dress patterns, and reimagined wardrobe staples such as jackets and coats updated for today’s fashion landscape. The collection also features shoes and accessories that tell “stories of the night.”
Moss describes the collection as “a little bit disco, a little bit rock’n’roll,” citing influences like 1970s icons Charlotte Rampling and Lauren Hutton, Studio 54, and Led Zeppelin. The designs aim to provide a complete, cross-generational party wardrobe that captures Moss’s distinct style ethos, honed from her career at the pinnacle of fashion.
The campaign for the collection has been photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, longtime collaborators of Moss, who have worked with her for 25 years. The collection will be available globally in select Zara stores and online at zara.com starting November 30.
