Alaïa Opens Two New Boutiques in the U.S.

Halleroed Designs Minimalist Spaces Inspired by Maison’s Craftsmanship

Alaïa has announced the opening of two new boutiques in the United States: its first Las Vegas location at the Fontainebleau and a new store at South Coast Plaza. Both spaces were designed in collaboration with the architectural duo Halleroed.

The boutiques reflect a contemporary and minimal aesthetic that aligns with Alaïa’s design philosophy. “The vision behind these spaces is defined by organic shapes and sharp lines, echoing the same language found in Alaïa’s iconic pieces,” the Maison shared. The interiors incorporate pale leather and Carrara marble, balancing intimacy with modern architectural design.

At Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the high ceilings are accentuated by descending tubular elements, a nod to the city’s entertainment influence. A modular curved sofa from the 1970s anchors the space, adding a retro touch.

In South Coast Plaza, the boutique introduces a leather-clad, rounded room featuring a skylight and custom-cut marble tiles. The circular architecture contrasts with the sharp, clean design, creating an interplay between craftsmanship and modern form.

Both locations reflect Alaïa’s ongoing commitment to integrating timeless design with contemporary cultural dialogue, a focus Pieter Mulier continues to develop within the Maison.

The openings mark Alaïa’s growing presence in the U.S., offering new touchpoints for the brand’s craftsmanship and evolving architectural vision.
