The Former Celine Executive Takes On An Expanded Role As The Brand Enters A New Phase Under Louise Trotter
Bottega Veneta has named Emilie Leblanc Global Marketing and Communications Director, strengthening its leadership team as the house continues its transition under new creative and executive direction.

Leblanc joins from Celine, where she served as Global Communications Director, and will report to Samuel Diep, Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer. In the newly expanded role, she will oversee the Italian brand’s global marketing and communications strategy across all markets and channels, with responsibilities spanning press relations, talent partnerships, events, media, and digital marketing.
Her appointment follows the departure of Thierry Conrad Reutenauer, who moved to Loewe late last year, and signals a broader remit for the position as Bottega Veneta looks to further align its brand messaging and global positioning.
Leblanc brings extensive experience in luxury marketing, most notably from her long tenure at Saint Laurent, where she spent over a decade shaping the brand’s global marketing and advertising strategy. She joined the house in 2006 and was later promoted to Associate Chief Marketing Officer. After a brief period at LVMH-owned jeweler Repossi, she returned to Saint Laurent in 2017 as Worldwide Marketing and Media Director, again rising to Associate Chief Marketing Officer.
Earlier in her career, Leblanc worked in advertising at French publisher Editions Jalou.
Her arrival comes at a moment of broader change for Bottega Veneta. The brand is entering a new creative chapter under Louise Trotter, who is set to present her sophomore collection during Milan Fashion Week, while also preparing for a leadership transition following the planned departure of Chief Executive Officer Leo Rongone at the end of March. Parent company Kering has yet to announce his successor.
Leblanc’s appointment underscores Bottega Veneta’s focus on reinforcing its marketing structure as it navigates this period of transition and seeks to further define its positioning within the luxury landscape.
