The actress, model, and style icon brings memories of Capri, Saint-Tropez, and Studio 54 to a fashion and homeware collaboration photographed by Carlijn Jacobs

Zara has partnered with actress, model, and fashion icon Marisa Berenson on The House of Marisa, a capsule collection spanning fashion, accessories, and homeware that draws on her personal history, cinematic career, and distinctive sense of style. Photographed by Carlijn Jacobs, the collection will launch online and in selected stores on June 5.
Described by Berenson as “my life and films,” the project marks the first time she has created a collection of this scale. The 45-piece offering includes beachwear, dresses, tailoring, and accessories alongside home furnishings, tableware, rugs, and decorative objects inspired by decades of travel, creativity, and cultural influences.
The collection is deeply informed by Berenson’s family history and her relationship with her grandmother, designer Elsa Schiaparelli. Memories of Schiaparelli’s eclectic Paris residence—filled with Aubusson tapestries, leopard-print furnishings, exotic objects, and surreal decorative touches—serve as a recurring reference point throughout both the fashion and home collections.

Across the fashion offering, Berenson revisits the glamour of the 1970s and 1980s through metallic lamé pieces, sequined eveningwear, feather-trimmed silhouettes, embroidered chiffon separates, and vibrant resortwear. Serpent motifs, one of the collection’s recurring symbols, appear across jewelry, swimwear, and accessories, while references to destinations such as Capri and Saint-Tropez reinforce the collection’s “endless summer” mood.
The accompanying home collection extends this world through richly decorative interiors. Butterfly-adorned screens, coral-toned furniture, zodiac-themed linens, embellished cushions, and ornate mirrors reflect the eclectic mix of glamour, fantasy, and personal storytelling that has defined Berenson’s aesthetic throughout her career.
A former model discovered by Diana Vreeland and a celebrated actress known for roles in films including Death in Venice and Cabaret, Berenson draws on decades of cultural references and personal memories to create a collection that bridges past and present. The result is a project that combines vintage glamour with contemporary ease, translating her distinctive universe into a new fashion and lifestyle offering.
