Khy Names Laura du Rusquec CEO

The former Ganni chief executive and Balenciaga deputy CEO will lead the Kylie Jenner-founded fashion brand’s next phase of growth

Khy has appointed Laura du Rusquec as chief executive officer, marking a strategic step in the Kylie Jenner-founded brand’s evolution from direct-to-consumer fashion label to a more fully developed fashion business.

Du Rusquec joins Khy with nearly two decades of experience across luxury, contemporary fashion, merchandising, retail, digital, and international expansion. Most recently, she served as CEO of Ganni, the Copenhagen-based contemporary brand backed by L Catterton, from 2024 to 2026. Prior to that, she spent more than seven years at Balenciaga, where she rose to deputy CEO after holding senior roles across retail, client engagement, distribution, and regional leadership.

Her appointment signals a sharpened growth agenda for Khy, which launched in 2023 with Jenner as founder and creative director. Built around limited-edition drops and a direct-to-consumer model, the Los Angeles-based brand has expanded across ready-to-wear, outerwear, and accessories while cultivating a fashion proposition rooted in trend responsiveness, community, and Jenner’s global influence.

The hire also comes as Khy continues to refine its brand identity. The company has recently introduced a refreshed website and updated social presence, underscoring its push toward a more elevated positioning as it expands its fashion offering.

Du Rusquec’s background places her at the intersection of brand-building and operational scale. Before joining Ganni, she held leadership roles within Kering, including global brand director for marketing and merchandising at Pomellato and strategic roles supporting Gucci and Kering’s couture and leather goods division. She began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.

For Khy, the appointment brings seasoned luxury infrastructure to a celebrity-founded brand with significant consumer visibility. The move suggests an ambition to build beyond the velocity of drop culture and toward a more durable fashion platform, with greater emphasis on product quality, brand coherence, and long-term growth.

Jenner said the appointment reflects the direction she envisions for Khy, describing the brand’s next chapter as one defined by craftsmanship, longevity, and a clear point of view. Du Rusquec said she joins the company at a pivotal moment, citing Khy’s focus on intentional design, elevated quality, and its community-driven model.

The executive appointment coincides with the launch of Khy’s summer 2026 collection, “Dear Summer, Love Khy,” placing the leadership change within a broader moment of brand expansion.
