The actress debuts alongside Black Opium Pink Glaze as YSL Beauty continues to evolve its flagship fragrance for younger consumers.
YSL Beauty has appointed Alisha Boe as the new global brand ambassador for its Black Opium fragrance franchise, marking a new chapter for one of the brand’s most recognizable scents. Boe makes her debut alongside the launch of Black Opium Pink Glaze, a new interpretation of the fragrance specifically designed to expand the line’s appeal amongst Gen Z consumers while reinforcing Black Opium’s position within the luxury fragrance market.

Popularly known for her roles in The Buccaneers and 13 Reasons Why, Boe joins YSL Beauty during a period in which beauty brands are increasingly pairing rising Hollywood talent with hero fragrance franchises to build long-term cultural relevance. Rather than introducing an A-List celebrity, the brand is investing in a younger actress whose growing profile aligns with the next generation of prestige beauty consumers.
The partnership arrives in tandem with the launch of Black Opium Pink Glaze, the newest addition to the fragrance line that was first introduced in 2014. The new scent retains the franchise’s signature coffee accord while introducing a brighter strawberry note. The timing of the ambassadorship and fragrance launch feels natural, with both emphasizing confidence, individuality, and self-expression.
YSL Beauty’s announcement is about much more than introducing a new campaign face. Pairing an emerging actress with a refreshed iteration of its signature fragrance signals a strategy focused on extending the life of a proven franchise through contemporary talent and product innovation, rather than reinvention.
