The experience brought a group of creatives and athletes to Chilean Patagonia to explore the Fall/Winter 2026 collection’s Axis of Endurance theme
Snow Goose by Canada Goose brought its Fall/Winter 2026 collection to Chilean Patagonia for a four-day expedition led by creative director Haider Ackermann. Taking place from October 10 to 13 in Torres del Paine National Park, the experience brought together a group of creatives, athletes, and cultural figures to explore the collection’s central theme, Axis of Endurance, against one of the world’s most demanding natural backdrops.

The expedition included Amanda Harlech, Aron Piper, Christopher Horsley, Evan Mock, Fai Khadra, Gray Sorrenti, Isabella Burley, Jerry Stafford, Liam Swiderski, Marc Kalman, Mona Tougaard, and Payton Talbott. Traveling from Santiago to Puerto Natales before arriving at Explora Torres del Paine, the group encountered the unpredictable conditions of Patagonian spring, where sunshine, sleet, and strong winds can arrive in rapid succession. The landscape provided a setting for Ackermann’s exploration of endurance, placing the collection in an environment where technical performance is a necessity rather than an aesthetic reference.
The itinerary began with an 11-kilometer hike along Lago Grey, followed by kayaking among drifting icebergs toward Grey Glacier. The following day, guests traveled on horseback into the remote Sierra Baguales mountain range, an area shaped by Indigenous history, gaucho traditions, and a geological past preserved in marine fossils. The journey concluded with a traditional outdoor gathering featuring lamb cooked over an open fire, emphasizing the connection between the expedition and the region’s cultural landscape.
Throughout the experience, participants wore pieces from the Snow Goose Fall/Winter 2026 collection, designed to accommodate the shifting demands of the environment. The 3-Layer Jacket provided protection against wind, while the Quilted ¾ Zip Top and Diamond Down Trousers offered insulation during colder stretches of the journey. Additional pieces included the Rider Shirt in a tree-bark print combining Golden Khaki and Dark Anthracite, alongside the Trapper Hat and Hiker bag. A palette dominated by Moss Khaki allowed the garments to blend with the surrounding terrain, while custom sweatshirts and T-shirts carried the phrase “Together in the middle of nowhere.”

The expedition reflects Ackermann’s evolving approach to Snow Goose, the Canada Goose line that connects the brand’s technical outerwear heritage with a more expressive fashion perspective. Rather than presenting the collection exclusively through conventional campaign imagery, the Patagonia experience placed its garments within the conditions they are designed to navigate, bringing the ideas of resilience, adaptability, and collective exploration into sharper focus.
With its combination of fashion, wilderness, and cultural exchange, the journey offered a tangible interpretation of Axis of Endurance. The collection’s technical construction became part of a larger narrative about movement through challenging environments, reinforcing the relationship between Canada Goose’s performance heritage and Ackermann’s creative direction.
The Snow Goose by Canada Goose Fall/Winter 2026 collection launched online on October 8 and is available at select stores globally.
