The Debut Collection From Seán McGirr Will Feature Both Menswear and Womenswear
Alexander McQueen has announced the details for its Fall 2024 runway show, which will present the debut collection of new creative director Seán McGirr. The show will be held in Paris on Saturday, March 2nd, at 8PM putting the show on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.

The announcement from the house also shared that McGirr’s debut collection will comprise both womenswear and menswear.
A relative newcomer who has previously worked in the design studios of JW Anderson, Burberry, and Dries Van Noten, McGirr’s appointment was announced in early October of last year following the lauded final show of Sarah Burton. Having been at the house for 26 years – practically her entire career – Sarah Burton was a close creative partner of Lee Alexander McQueen, and had been the house’s only creative director since the eponymous founder’s passing.
