The new footwear design debuted in the House’s Fall 2026 collection, combining athletic references with couture-inspired construction
Balenciaga unveiled the Jet Sneaker, a new footwear silhouette introduced by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli as part of the House’s Fall 2026 collection, Body and Being. The design continues Balenciaga’s longstanding focus on experimental sneaker construction, integrating elements of sportswear with references to couture techniques and deconstruction.

The Jet Sneaker is built around a layered sole structure engineered to emphasize traction, balance, and aerodynamics. Its form references performance running footwear while incorporating exposed stitching, raw edges, and visible construction details intended to evoke a work in progress.
One of the shoe’s defining features is the relocation of the interior information label to the exterior tongue, reversing a conventional sneaker detail. An elastic lacing system overlays the upper to create a slip-on structure while contributing to an inside-out, corseted visual effect.
The upper combines mesh and smooth-textured panels, including recycled polyester components, treated with gradient finishes and distressed detailing. Branding elements include Balenciaga’s new Bodies logo, a dedicated Jet logo, and printed sizing details integrated directly onto the surface.
The silhouette extends Balenciaga’s broader footwear language through its oversized, sculptural proportions, drawing connections to earlier sneaker designs developed by the House while referencing evolving sports technology aesthetics.
The Jet Sneaker is available globally in both men’s and women’s sizing through select Balenciaga stores and online. Colorways include monochrome black, eggshell, and brown variations, alongside styles accented with blue, lime, pink, and pastel tones.
