Bally, the Swiss luxury brand, announces today an exciting new collaboration with Academy Award-winning Actor and renowned Artist Adrien Brody. The style icon will make his debut as a designer, stepping behind the camera to create a series of [stand-alone] capsules for the fashion house. Brody, known for his acclaimed performances in a multitude of films as well as being an accomplished painter, was raised to have a deep appreciation for the creative arts. Adrien’s mother Sylvia Plachy is a world-renowned photographer whose work has been celebrated globally by museums and in numerous books and published works.
The capsules will feature ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, bags, and other accessories all designed by Brody with support from Bally’s Creative Studio to celebrate his love for a journey, inspired by a lifetime of travel. Brody will aim to celebrate and showcase the history and heritage of Bally by applying his artistic sensibility in connection with his love for beautifully crafted products.
Since the early 20th century, Bally has partnered with the world’s leading creative talent, from illustrators to architects, musicians to artists. With that in mind, I am honored to announce this special partnership with Adrien, who has a unique style and creative vision.
