David White

Set Designer

David White graduated from Wimbledon School of Art with a degree in theatre design. After a year working on promenade theatre projects he found his way into the world of set design for stills and moving image assisting the likes of Shona Heath, Faye Toogood and Gideon Ponte on shoots with Tim Walker, David Sims, Mario Testino and Steven Klein.

Having continued to work on his own projects throughout his time assisting, David was quickly signed to the Magnet Agency. He also became resident set designer for The Theo Adams Company, their last project being a piece of promenade theatre staged in Tokyo for the brand Louis Vuitton. For this they transformed an empty warehouse into a multi room hotel complete with a hidden luggage room containing flying hotel staff, a silent disco and two way bathroom mirrors for guests to explore before an explosive finale in front of a three story hotel facade.

Now signed to worldwide agency streeters, David works with photographers including Mert & Marcus, Solve Sundsbo, Alasdair Mclellan, David Sims, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Tyrone Lebon for publications such as Italian Vogue, British Vogue, Us Vogue, Vogue Paris, Love, Another Magazine, Arena Homme+, Dazed and has worked on advertising campaigns for brands including Gucci, Calvin Klein, Versace, Lancome, Celine, Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Kenzo and Hermes.
