Dior Transforms Cannes Beauty Suite at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic

The space returns during the Cannes Film Festival with a new scenography inspired by Jonathan Anderson’s Dior

Dior has reopened its Beauty Suite at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic during the Cannes Film Festival, continuing its annual presence on the Croisette with an updated concept tied to the evolving visual identity of the House.

Open throughout the duration of the festival, the suite welcomes actors, ambassadors, and guests ahead of red carpet appearances and public events. This year’s edition has been redesigned in a palette of white and sky blue, drawing on the atmosphere of the French Riviera while introducing references connected to Jonathan Anderson’s vision for Dior.

The scenography features striped motifs rendered with a hand-drawn effect alongside illustrated figures dressed for a masquerade. Central to the installation is the Dior Masquerade couture motif, inspired by the illustrations of Christian Bérard, whose theatrical imagery was closely admired by Christian Dior. The reference also nods to the history of costume design and cinema, reinforcing Dior’s longstanding relationship with the film industry and the Cannes Film Festival.

Located inside Le Majestic, the suite serves as a backstage destination for beauty preparation during one of the industry’s most visible international cultural events.
