Emma Roach

Set Designer

Emma Roach creates set designs that are reminiscent of David Lynch films and art and photography of the ’70s, becoming the go-to set designer for Raf Simons, Calvin Klein, Hussein Chalayan and Valentino for creative sets that add another dimension to the brands’ storytelling.

Roach came from an art background, having studied sculpture and painting, and after graduation spent a few years assisting stylists such as Sarah Richardson and Shona Heath. The artist frequently references art and music that have a darker note to them, landing her commissions from magazines like the American and Italian editions of Vogue, Dazed, AnOther and W Magazine.

Emma Roach Studio is a London based design studio specialising in set design, installation and prop making for the fashion industry. Established by Emma Roach in 2007, the studio works across a variety of different mediums including film, digital and print.
