Ermenegildo Zegna’s Is Celebrating a Decade of Fostering Global Education for Italian Students
The Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship project proudly marks its 10th edition this year, with a commitment to sustain the initiative for a total of 25 years since its 2014 launch.
The scholarship, boasting an impressive annual fund of up to 1 million euros, grants selected candidates from more than 20 esteemed Italian universities the opportunity to immerse themselves in renowned global institutions. The vision is clear: by empowering these students with international exposure, they will return to Italy equipped with skills and knowledge that can further propel the nation’s growth.
To date, the initiative has proudly conferred 425 scholarships. For the 2023-24 academic year, 71 carefully chosen students are set to broaden their horizons in distinguished establishments like Harvard, Columbia, and UCLA in the USA; Oxford, Cambridge, and the London School of Economics in the UK; along with other notable institutes in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Japan.
Application deadlines for prospective scholars will vary, contingent on their chosen overseas institution.
A representative from the Ermenegildo Zegna Foundation commented, “Our foundation is deeply committed to forging a brighter path for the coming generations. Echoing the core value of community contribution that has defined our founder since 1910, the family’s third generation established the foundation in 2000, carrying forward the inherited spirit of giving.”
