Fleur du Mal Appoints Vanessa Abreu as President

The former SKIMS senior vice president joins the luxury lingerie brand to lead retail, wholesale, and international expansion

Fleur du Mal has appointed Vanessa Abreu as President, effective October 19, 2026. The executive joins the luxury lingerie and ready-to-wear brand following a tenure at SKIMS, bringing more than two decades of experience across fashion and luxury retail as the company prepares for its next phase of international growth.

Most recently, Abreu served as Senior Vice President at SKIMS, where she oversaw the strategic expansion of the brand’s global physical presence. Her responsibilities spanned retail development, pop-ups, experiential concepts, brand collaborations, strategic partnerships, franchising, and wholesale, contributing to the development of the brand’s increasingly diversified distribution network.

Prior to SKIMS, Abreu held leadership positions at Bottega Veneta, Burberry, and rag & bone, developing expertise in commercial strategy, merchandising, and international business development. Her experience across established luxury houses and rapidly expanding contemporary brands positions her to support Fleur du Mal’s ambitions across multiple markets and retail channels.

In her new role, Abreu will oversee the brand’s growth strategy, with particular emphasis on expanding its retail and wholesale operations, accelerating international development, and maintaining momentum in e-commerce. The appointment reflects Fleur du Mal’s ambitions to broaden its commercial reach while preserving the distinctive creative identity established by founder and CEO Jennifer Zuccarini.

“I’m thrilled to join Fleur du Mal at such an exciting moment in the brand’s evolution,” said Abreu. “I look forward to partnering with Jennifer and the talented team to build on the brand’s distinctive identity, deepen its connection with customers, and unlock new opportunities for growth.”

“We’ve built Fleur du Mal with a distinct point of view on lingerie, fashion, and femininity, and I see tremendous opportunity to bring our world to a broader audience,” said Zuccarini. “Vanessa brings the experience and vision to help us realize that ambition while staying true to what makes Fleur du Mal special.”

The appointment marks a significant step in Fleur du Mal’s commercial development, bringing an executive with extensive experience in scaling retail networks and building international distribution to the leadership team. As the brand looks to expand beyond its existing customer base, Abreu’s background at SKIMS and several major luxury houses offers a foundation for translating its established aesthetic into a broader global business.
