Gant Celebrates The Launch Of Its Archive Exhibition And New Studio

Lila Flowers (L) and Emma Brinkman attend the Gant Archive Exhibition at 240 Mulberry st on February 22 in New York, NY.

In celebration of the Gant Archive Exhibition, American sportswear brand GANT hosted a launch event at its brand new Studio on 240 Mulberry Street.

The event featured DJ sets by J. Page and Nianga Niang – and was co-hosted by the GANT Archive Exhibition curators: Throwing Fits’ Lawrence Schlossman and James Harris. Among the 200 guests joining the hosts were, Imani Randolph, Tanner Reese, Alexander Roth and Justin Boone.

Opening its doors to the public on February 23rd, the exhibition highlights the history of one of the first American sportswear brands, exploring its contribution to the fashion industry and showcasing iconic pieces dating from when it was founded in New Haven in 1949 to present day.

Following Gant’s reentry to the US market in 2022, the Archive Exhibition marks the first event in the brand’s new experiential Studio space at 240 Mulberry Street The space will serve as a creative hub, housing curated exhibitions, panel discussions and inspiring brand activations that bring talent and community together.

It is a destination where customers, wholesale partners, and community can physically engage with the brand and discover a selection of Gant’s current and upcoming collections.

The exhibition will move on to London, curated by Samuel Trotman (Samutaro), and Paris, curated by Manuel Schenck, later in the Spring. Dates and locations to be announced closer to the launch.
