The raw chaotic energy of grunge-style is being reclaimed by the streets from where it first emerged. Embracing the DIY attitude of the TikTok generation, frayed knits, vintage band Tees, and XXL cargo pants offered a rare glimpse into actual authentic street style, one that is both accessible and original, as it requires a certain degree of self-expression to pull off. Most prevalent in New York, it also showed up on the streets of Milan and Paris as off-duty models and show-goers demonstrated how to effortlessly pull-off the look.
