Matthew M. Williams Collaborator Chito Decked Out Givenchy’s Miami Boutique In Celebration Of Art Basel
In honor of Art Basel Miami, the Givenchy boutique in the Miami Design District came alive this week with façade and window animations by American artist Chito.
Conceived especially for Art Week, the showcase offered the Parisian house an exciting, highly visual way of celebrating its love for all kinds of artistic creation.
It also served as a platform for premiering special pieces designed by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams that incorporate works by Chito, with whom the creative director has collaborated on a recent collection and series of NFT artworks.
Givenchy’s window displays featured Chito’s airbrush version of the signature 4G emblem fused with his signature “Pup” character, a star of the Spring 2022 collection. In the boutique’s portrait windows, a lineup of video screens gave passersby a glimpse of the Paris runway presentation during which these creations were first revealed.
