The Chinese Actress Joins Givenchy as the House Strengthens Its Cultural Presence in the Market Under Creative Director Sarah Burton

Givenchy has appointed Chinese actress Yang Zi as a House Ambassador in China, effective immediately.
One of China’s leading actresses, Yang has built a career across film and television spanning more than two decades. Known for taking on a wide range of roles, her appointment brings another prominent Chinese cultural figure into Givenchy’s ambassador network as the house continues to shape its identity under Creative Director Sarah Burton.
Yang specifically pointed to Burton’s vision for Givenchy and her interpretation of femininity as a reason for the partnership.
“I’ve always admired Sarah Burton’s vision for Givenchy and the sense of elegance she brings to the House,” Yang said. “For me, elegance is deeply personal — it comes from the confidence to be true to yourself.”
“I’m delighted to join Givenchy as a brand ambassador, with the opportunity to explore new expressions of style and, together with the House, express a vision of femininity defined by elegance and strength.”
The appointment is effective immediately.
