With hands-on customization, repair services, and a focus on community, the brand’s Dallas debut reimagines what a store can be
Golden Goose has made its way to Dallas. The Italian brand, best known for its deliberately scuffed sneakers and handcrafted details, has opened a new Forward concept store at NorthPark Center—its first in Texas and third of its kind in the U.S., following New York and Miami.
The 5,900-square-foot store carries the full range of Golden Goose offerings: sneakers, boots, and ready-to-wear for adults and kids, as well as accessories like sunglasses, handbags, and jewelry. But the Forward model is about more than what’s on the shelves. It is a space designed for interaction between shoppers and artisans, tradition and modernity, production and product.
Inside, the store blends raw concrete with vintage wood furniture and mirrored counters. Customers can take part in the brand’s Co-Creation experience, working with in-house artists to personalize pieces with materials like crystal fabrics, glitter, pony hair, and suede, or add hand-painted details, embroidery, and distressing. For those looking to start from scratch, Golden Goose also offers a Bespoke Program to design sneakers entirely their own.
The store features a fully equipped Calzoleria (Italian for cobbler’s workshop), where clients can repair and personalize their sneakers—Golden Goose or otherwise—and a Music Room tucked behind wood paneling invites guests to browse vinyl and listen to curated records through retro headphones. A Con Amore Cart adds a thoughtful touch, offering coffee, sweet treats, and fresh flowers alongside custom wrapping paper.
The opening comes at a time of steady growth for the brand. Golden Goose reported an 11% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2025, with much of that momentum driven by its direct-to-consumer business.
But beyond numbers, the Dallas store reflects a broader shift in how brands like Golden Goose are thinking about retail—not just as a place to sell, but as a place to gather. With its hands-on workshops, open studio feel, and moments of hospitality, the space encourages visitors to linger, create, and connect. In a market like Dallas, where community ties run deep, that kind of approach doesn’t just make for a better shopping experience, it is a smart investment in long-term loyalty.
