The Design Exhibition Aligns with the New Menswear Line’s Runway Debut
IM Men, the latest menswear line from Issey Miyake, has unveiled a special exhibition to be held at Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Dubbed “Fly with IM Men,” the exhibition is designed to explore new frontiers in menswear by integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
Established in 2021, IM Men builds on Issey Miyake’s foundational philosophy – that clothing begins with a single piece of cloth. The brand has continually sought to innovate in the ways clothes are made, focusing on the human body. The exhibition, showcasing the brand’s unique construction techniques and the materials used, represents a fusion of design and engineering.
The highlight of the exhibit is an installation by Tokujin Yoshioka, who draws on the synergy between traditional Japanese artisanship and contemporary technological approaches. This installation embodies the brand’s commitment to innovative design, as informed by Miyake’s original vision.
“Fly With IM Men” is part of a broader strategy to introduce IM Men’s unique approach to a wider audience, particularly following the brand’s runway debut at Paris Fashion Week for the Fall 2025 season.
The exhibition will be open at the Réfectoire des Cordeliers in Paris from January 24 through 26. Admission is free, although visitors need to reserve their spots starting January 9th. A press preview will be held on the morning of January 24.
