Channeling the International Excitement Around F1, the Capsule Brings McLaren’s Technical Racing Style to Levi’s Denim Classics
Levi’s has announced its first collaboration with Formula One giant McLaren Racing, introducing a capsule collection that celebrates heritage and innovation.
The collection, set to drop in stores worldwide on Wednesday alongside the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit, features a racing jacket, racing suit, racing gloves, trucker, jeans, constructors T-shirt, and a racing bandana.
The racing jacket draws inspiration from McLaren Racing’s vintage era, sporting chain stitch embroidery logo on the back and twill taping at the cuff and hem.
The racing suit offers a relaxed fit with a slight drop crotch and straight leg, adorned with vintage-inspired patches, a crackle print down the right leg, and a veg tan leather zipper at the front center.
For the jeans, the classic Levi’s 501 have been updated with a shadow pocket on the left back featuring a crackle print, along with a red tape welt zipper pocket at the top, a first for the brand. The jeans also showcase vintage-inspired patches and a red co-branded back patch.
