Loro Piana Sponsors Tre Golfi Sailing Week 2026

The Maison continues to deepen its ties to competitive sailing through its support of one of the Mediterranean’s leading regattas

Loro Piana has announced its sponsorship of the Tre Golfi Sailing Week 2026, reinforcing the Italian Maison’s longstanding relationship with the world of sailing and its broader commitment to sport, craftsmanship, and lifestyle culture. Held from May 5 to 28 off the coast of Sorrento, the event remains one of the Mediterranean’s most prominent regattas, bringing together leading international sailors, yacht clubs, and racing teams.

Organized by Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with Yacht Club Italiano, Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, the International Maxi Association, the Offshore Racing Congress, and the Italian Sailing Federation, the competition includes both the IMA Maxi European Championship and the ORC World Championship. More than 120 boats are expected to participate across offshore and inshore races spanning the Gulf of Naples and surrounding islands including Capri, Ischia, Ponza, and Li Galli.

The sponsorship continues Loro Piana’s decades-long association with sailing culture, a space that has become increasingly central to the brand’s identity and product development. The Maison will also return in June as title sponsor of the 73rd edition of the Giraglia Regatta, further consolidating its presence within elite Mediterranean sailing circuits. Through these partnerships, Loro Piana aligns its image with values of precision, performance, heritage, and understated luxury — qualities that continue to define both competitive sailing and the brand’s positioning.

At the Tre Golfi Sailing Week, Loro Piana will once again award the Loro Piana Challenge Trophy to the winner of the IMA Maxi Group 1 category. The partnership also extends beyond sponsorship visibility into a broader narrative around material innovation and lifestyle. Sailing has historically served as both inspiration and testing ground for the Maison’s technical fabric research, influencing products such as the Windmate® Bomber and White Sole shoes, both rooted in nautical functionality and refined design.

The connection between the Loro Piana family and sailing culture remains deeply personal. Pier Luigi Loro Piana continues to compete in regattas aboard his yacht My Song, maintaining a family tradition closely tied to the Mediterranean and to the lifestyle values the brand promotes globally. Within this context, sailing operates not only as sport, but as a reflection of the Maison’s approach to leisure, performance, and enduring craftsmanship.

As luxury brands increasingly invest in experiential and cultural partnerships, Loro Piana’s continued presence within the sailing world underscores a strategy centered less on spectacle and more on long-term alignment with heritage-driven communities and pursuits.
