Malone Souliers Opens Flagship in London

Malone Souliers Opens First Flagship on Mount Street

Malone Souliers is opening its first brick and mortar store in the UK – an immersive flagship on London’s Mount Street. A love letter to the city we have called home since our foundation in 2014, the store is our way of celebrating the magic of physical retail. Inside, customers will be treated to an up-close and personal experience of Malone Souliers’ personalised service, time-honoured craftsmanship and daring approach to design.

The new store is split over two levels, a 977 sq ft ground floor space and a 653 sq ft basement. Throughout, interiors, furniture and fixtures pay tribute to our most recognisable design codes, from curved walls that reference the iconic form of the Maureen mule to shelving inspired by our signature cross-straps. Customers will be able to both discover the latest additions to the Malone Souliers range as well as reacquaint themselves with our most beloved silhouettes via a dedicated area that will showcase the many different design options on offer in classic styles such as the Maureen, Laney and Marion.

Alongside a dazzling range of shoes and accessories for women and men, the new flagship will offer an extra level of service that fully expresses our founder Mary Alice Malone’s passion for the craft and creation of footwear. All staff members will be trained by cordwainers so that they have a deep, technical understanding of how our shoes are made, fitted and maintained. We will also be offering bespoke services such as the newly launched Made-To-Order service, which will allow anyone who visits us to create a unique pair of shoes of their own design. More than simply a retail space, the store will also become a hub for the Malone Souliers community in London, offering a calendar of talks, exhibits and workshops that explore our vision of progressive luxury and Mary Alice’s many inspirations.

It’s always a pleasure to see customers getting up close with our shoes and experiencing what makes them special. With this in mind, I wanted to offer up a space in London that sparks creativity, thought and joy. The flagship also provides something new for our community: the opportunity to get together in person and share ideas and inspirations. I hope that the store will become a new meeting point and social hub for our friends and family, from our most loyal customers to those who are discovering Malone Souliers for the first time.”
