Miss Dior Continues Its Global Tour With Tokyo Stop

The Multi-Stage, International Activation Makes Its Latest Stop at the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo

Dior’s traveling exhibiton “Miss Dior, Stories of a Miss” has arrived in Tokyo, where it will be on view at the Roppongi museum from June 16 to July 15, 2024.

The exhibition showcases a rich collection of heritage couture pieces, artifacts, and archives from the House of Dior, complemented by several new works produced in collaboration with internationally recognized artists.

Visitors to the exhibition will be greeted by an embroidered floral garden that highlights a new prestige edition bottle designed by Eva Jospin, setting the stage for an immersive journey through the olfactory and artistic heritage of the Miss Dior fragrance. Originating from Provence, the scent’s history intertwines with the worlds of art and fashion.

The layout of the exhibition is guided by the iconic Miss Dior ribbon, leading attendees through a historical exploration of the fragrance’s influence on haute couture and its enduring inspiration to artists. Notable contributions include sketches and watercolors by René Gruau and Mats Gustafson, and works by Yukimasa Ida, Sabine Marcelis, and Haruka Kojin. Additionally, a new painting by Japanese artist Etsu Egami has been added to Dior’s collection, illustrating the ongoing creative legacy of the Miss Dior spirit.
