Review of Nensi Dojaka Spring 2022 Fashion Show

Nensi Dojaka turns sexy, feminine dressing on its head.

By Lizzy Bowring

Feelings of anticipation, excitement, heart palpitations; does this sound a bit much? Not really when you are waiting to view one of the most talked-about upcoming shows for LFW.

Barely there, body-conscious and skin-revealing does not quite do justice when describing this quite beautiful collection from the new star of London Fashion Week.

Fresh from winning the coveted LVMH prize, Nensi Dojaka’s future looks more than bright. From Bella Hadid, Sophie Turner, Jaime Xie, Adwoa Aboah, to Hailey Bieber, the Albanian born, London-based designer has just what it takes to win the hearts and purses of her prestigious clientele. For that matter, any discerning young woman would love to covet any one of these delicious silhouettes.

Presented in a palette of signature black with an injection of lingerie pink, off-white and ginger, every piece is delicately pieced into shape, thanks to her discerning eye to detail. As a result, her silhouettes are natural, elegant and sexy, turning the idea of feminine dressing on its head.

Cutouts (an overarching trend this season) and corset details expose slithers of skin, revealed in delicate juxtapositions of sheers and solid materials that elegantly skim the feminine form, all held by tiny shoulder-skimming straps.

Several pieces will be snapped up not just for dinner dressing but will be easy enough to wear with a tailored jacket and fluid trousers or just the correct item to update that casual outfit with an overtly aughts sex appeal.

Beware! These pieces are not for the faint of heart but for those ready to transition from home to party in show-stopping silhouettes.
