Zendaya, the star of Challengers, recently collaborated with Swiss sportswear brand On for its fall 2024 Movement Collection campaign. The actress traveled to Vals, Switzerland, where she was filmed tobogganing down a track and strolling through mountain flower fields, showcasing On’s latest apparel and sneakers. In the campaign, Zendaya highlighted her enjoyment of physical movement, pushing herself beyond her comfort zone.
Zendaya, who became a brand partner with On in June, shared her appreciation for the experience, saying, “Spending time with On in Switzerland was incredibly inspiring. People are always outside exploring the natural landscape, which is so refreshing.” She emphasized the importance of finding joy in daily moments, such as connecting with nature and new people, which she felt the campaign reflected.
David Allemann, cofounder of On, echoed Zendaya’s sentiments, expressing his satisfaction with the collaboration. “Collaborating with Zendaya on a campaign that pays homage to On’s birthplace was so fulfilling,” Allemann said, noting how the campaign aligned with On’s mission to celebrate movement and well-being.
Zendaya was styled in On’s All Day 1/2 Zip, Movement Joggers, and Movement bra, paired with Cloudtilt shoes. These items are part of On’s fall 2024 collection and are available in the ‘Zendaya Edit’ on the brand’s website.
Founded in 2010, On began as a footwear company but has since expanded into sports apparel. In the company’s second-quarter report, released in August, On reported a 63% increase in apparel sales and a 26.7% rise in footwear sales. On is also backed by tennis champion Roger Federer, who has invested in the brand.
Allemann noted that preorders for the fall season have doubled compared to the previous year, and highlighted the growing momentum in On’s apparel segment. He added that as the brand expands retail, it expects apparel sales to continue increasing. On’s co-CEO, Martin Hoffmann, also expressed confidence in the brand’s future growth, pointing to collaborations with brands such as Loewe and Post Archive Faction, which have raised awareness and engagement.
