Gestural, sensorial, soothing: the Paco Rabanne Fall 2022 campaign explores a body language that corresponds to the themes of Julien Dossena’s runway collection. Shot by Stef Mitchel, the series transmits a fusion of forms and feelings that bring the viewer close to the clothes and the figures who wear them. As if emerging from a meditative state, the mood is calm and comforting, while textures come into clearer focus. Filmed from various angles, the images appear sculptural, the colours and motifs standing out from the neutral backdrop. Within the frames, there is a sense of protection expressed poetically. 

Says Dossena, “I wanted the conceptual feeling of the runway to come through in this campaign – and to show how such soft and fluid clothes can create an impression that is at once protective and freeing.”
