Prada Creates an Immersive Brand Destination in Milan’s Historic Galleria

Opening in September 2026, the new destination will combine retail, exhibitions, hospitality, and cultural programming

Prada has announced Prada Galleria, a new multi-floor destination in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II that brings together the brand’s fashion, cultural, and hospitality initiatives within a single interconnected space.

Located at the site of the original Fratelli Prada boutique established in 1913, the project marks a significant expansion of the House’s presence within one of Milan’s most recognizable landmarks. Spanning both sides of the historic arcade beneath its central dome, Prada Galleria unites retail, exhibitions, dining, and private client experiences under a single concept.

At the center of the development are Prada Donna and Prada Uomo, the brand’s women’s and men’s boutiques. Prada has confirmed that the women’s store will be enlarged and connected to the men’s store through a newly constructed underground passage, creating a more integrated shopping experience.

The project extends vertically above Prada Uomo, introducing several new spaces dedicated to different aspects of the brand’s activities. A private client floor will offer made-to-measure services, exclusive shopping experiences, and access to categories including fine jewelry. Additional levels will be reserved for brand events and special guests.

A key component of the project is Pradasphere, a new exhibition space occupying an entire floor. Conceived as an evolving public exhibition, the installation will explore more than a century of Prada’s history while examining the ideas, creativity, and innovation that continue to shape the brand today.

Prada Galleria also incorporates Marchesi 1824, the historic pastry shop and café that has become an integral part of the Prada ecosystem, alongside Osservatorio Fondazione Prada. Established in 2016, Osservatorio serves as a platform for research and experimentation focused on contemporary visual culture, technology, and emerging forms of creative expression.

By bringing these different initiatives together, Prada Galleria creates a destination that extends beyond traditional luxury retail. The project reflects the House’s longstanding commitment to engaging with art, culture, design, and hospitality as interconnected elements of its identity.

Opening to the public in September 2026, Prada Galleria represents both a return to the brand’s origins and an expansion of its future ambitions. Situated within the location where the Prada story began more than a century ago, the project offers a comprehensive expression of the brand’s evolving universe while reinforcing Milan’s role as its cultural and creative home.
