Technology and Sportswear Come to the Fore in the Latest Capsule
Puma and Coperni have unveiled their second collaborative collection, continuing their exploration of an intersection between fashion, sportswear, and technology. The new collection reimagines classic silhouettes with a forward-thinking approach, emphasizing streamlined designs and innovative materials.
Building on the success of their first partnership, this installment features reinterpretations of Puma’s iconic T7 tracksuit and cut-and-sew garments crafted from performance fabrics. Highlights include the Asymmetrical Gown and Top, both made from CARVICO eco-sustainable techno-fabric, a material often used in Puma’s Olympic performance wear. The T7 Jacket and Pants feature Coperni’s signature knot detailing, while a hoodie adorned with cat ears offers a playful twist on Coperni’s horned sweatshirt. A co-branded essential T-shirt rounds out the ready-to-wear lineup.
Footwear takes center stage with the return of two standout styles: Coperni’s reinterpretation of the Puma Speedcat and the futuristic 90SQR hybrid. The Speedcat is overlaid with a structural cage and available in black and white, while the 90SQR—combining elements of a sculpted dress shoe and a football boot—comes in “Blue Gloss” and “Black.”
Accessories include the Puma x Coperni Bag, a reimagining of Coperni’s signature Swipe Bag, boldly adorned with Puma’s leaping cat logo in silver for a striking visual statement.
The campaign imagery reflects themes of time and movement, portraying two protagonists crossing paths as a metaphor for the collaborative exchange of ideas between Puma and Coperni.
Puma and Coperni’s second collection will launch on November 13 at Coperni stores and on coperniparis.com, followed by a wider release on Puma.com and select retailers starting November 16, 2024.
