Premium athleticwear brand Reigning Champ, in collaboration with designer Jide Osifeso, launched their Season Two Collection this week. Blending the notions of newness and familiarity, Reigning Champ’s careful manufacturing is bringing Osifeso’s experimental seam work to life with refined boxy silhouettes, robust technical fabrics, and contrasting textures.
With concept imagery shot by Nigerian-born photographer Stephen Tayo, the black and white photos emphasize the designer’s influence of unpredictability in the pacific northwest climate, which drives Osifeso towards utilitarian-focused sportswear design. The drop includes intricate pieces like tear away trousers, flatback thermal t-shirts, and polartec fleece pullover hoodies, ranging from $120-$300 USD.
